 A New Level for Oceanco
Mohammed and Usama Al Barwani.
A year ago Mohammed Al Barwani came to the Monaco Yacht Show to find a yacht for himself. He chose a project of one of the American yards, which already started the build process. This year the businessman from Oman sells his own yachts: in 2010 he purchased the Dutch yard Oceanco and now he is presenting 90m, 100m and even longer boats. The Al Barwanis, father and son, speak about their plans in an exclusive interview to "Yakhty".
In early June Cannes hosted a presentation of Esimit, a racing maxi yacht. The event was particularly important because the yacht was meant to become a symbol of the united Europe. Within a month the yacht won the prestigious Giraglia race. Igor Simcic, owner of the winner and inspiration behind the Esimit project, told us why the EU needs its own yacht, what Slovenia and Italy have in common, and what Gasprom's role was in the project.

 The Antarctic: Territory of Records
This is the coldest, driest and windiest continent on the planet having the most active glaciers in the world. Nevertheless the Antarctic attracts more and more superyachts and expedition boats lately. Here is why.

Lady Christine
The impressive exterior of this new Feadship superyacht hides passion and common sense of the experienced owners, brave approach of the debutant designer and the craftsmanship of the builders.
